Dear Diary,
it is a sad day today. One of our good friend Patrick Maloney died today. This all took place at his own house. He died due to a blow at the back of his head. It was said that the murder weapon was a heavy and blunt piece of metal.
As it took place in his house, i naturally suspect that a burglar broke in and killed him. But, it would be hard to break in without alerting Patrick and deliver a blow in the back of his head. So, i went to search for the weapon as the buglar most likely would not carry the weapon back as it would be too eye-catching and too heavy. It was especially peculiar as i could not find the murder weapon nearby. We have checked the lawn, the whole house and even the nearby public dustbin but to no avail.
Then, Mrs Maloney invited us to some whiskey to keep us going and then she said something about Patrick will not forgive her if she did not provide us hospitality. So, she invited us to eat the lamb that was just cooked. I felt so hungry then that i could not control myself. The meat tasted especially good. Then we started talking about the case. One of them said something about the weapon right under our noses then i heard Mrs Maloney giggle. Hmm, i wonder why she giggled. May Patrick rest in peace.
Redards,
Jack Noonan

The ending to the story: The lady, or the Tiger?
So, i shall continue the story from where it ended by my own version.
Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right, and opened it. At the exact moment the door was opened, a knife was thrown down to the arena from the gallery and a ferocious tiger pounced towards the young man. The young man acted immediately and dodged the tiger as if he knew it was the tiger that was coming out. He then ran and picked up the knife that was thrown down from the gallery. The tiger then pounced towards the young man. Within a split second, the young man threw the knife straight at the tiger's chest, before the tiger came crashing down onto the young man. The spectators made a loud breathing sound in awe. The doleful iron bells were clanged and everyone thought the young man was dead. Suddenly, the young man miraculously pushed the tiger away from him and stood up, unharmed.
The spectators, the king, the princess and the guards were all stunned. It was as if time stopped for a second. Everyone stopped moving, stopped breathing and they all stared at the young man. The young man turned to look at the king, expecting him to say something. The king then stood up and announced "This young man has proven himself to marry my daughter. He of all men, managed to kill the ferocious tiger even with the help of a knife. I shall announce that the wedding be taken place immediately within the arena!"
The spectators cheered loudly as the marriage was taking place. The princess was glad that the young man survived and she was going to marry him whereas the the young man was glad that he could marry the princess even though the princess tried to kill him. In the end, nobody knew who threw the knife into the arena and nobody cared to bother, so, they lived happily ever after.

Lesson 3: Comprehension
There are different types of questions in comprehension. There are Factual questions, inferential questions, answer in your own words question, comparitive question, vocabulary questions and language question.
For factual question you should look for key words and phrase that will lead to the facts in relevance to the question. For inferential questions, you will need to try and really understand the question and the relevant text before answering the question. For the question where you need to answer in your own words, it is similar to factual questions just that you need to answer in your own words. You could try and understand the relevant text and rephrase it in your own words. For the comparitive question, you will need to identify then explain then give examples. For identifying, you will get 1 mark, explaining, 2 marks, giving examples, 2 marks. For the language question, answer more specifically. Lastly for the vocabulary question, my advise is to learn more words.
This is the end of my post. Thank you for reading it.

Lesson 2: Writing a good composition
There are three main part to a story and that is Introduction, Plot and Conclusion. There are different kinds of introduction. You could start an introduction with a description of the setting and you could also start with a flashback etc. etc.In the introduction, there is a need to show the main character, the "good" guy and the "bad" guy and set the tone of the story. The plot which is the most important part should be longer than the others and should hold the most of the story. The plot should have the problem and the solution. Lastly the conclusion should wrap up the story. The conclusions could end with a twist or coming back to reality from a flash back etc. etc. Last but not least, we should write clearly, to the point and describe the story in scenes.
Lesson 1: Plagiarism
I think that plagiarism is about somebody copying someone else's work and taking credit for it. Such actions are against the copyright laws and are illegal. Most students plagiarise because they are lazy to do the work and decided to copy someone else's work and hand it in as their's. Plagiarizing is different from paraphrasing. Plagiarizing is completely copying every single word and taking credit for it while paraphrasing is understanding a text and rephrase it with your own words. You could also copy and paste a text into part of your work but you cannot say it is your work. You must cite it to say you copied it from somewhere and is not your own work.Examples of plagiarism is handing in projects that were directly copied from somewhere and stating that it is your work.
