Without the slightest hesitation, he went to the door on the right, and opened it. At the exact moment the door was opened, a knife was thrown down to the arena from the gallery and a ferocious tiger pounced towards the young man. The young man acted immediately and dodged the tiger as if he knew it was the tiger that was coming out. He then ran and picked up the knife that was thrown down from the gallery. The tiger then pounced towards the young man. Within a split second, the young man threw the knife straight at the tiger's chest, before the tiger came crashing down onto the young man. The spectators made a loud breathing sound in awe. The doleful iron bells were clanged and everyone thought the young man was dead. Suddenly, the young man miraculously pushed the tiger away from him and stood up, unharmed.
The spectators, the king, the princess and the guards were all stunned. It was as if time stopped for a second. Everyone stopped moving, stopped breathing and they all stared at the young man. The young man turned to look at the king, expecting him to say something. The king then stood up and announced "This young man has proven himself to marry my daughter. He of all men, managed to kill the ferocious tiger even with the help of a knife. I shall announce that the wedding be taken place immediately within the arena!"
The spectators cheered loudly as the marriage was taking place. The princess was glad that the young man survived and she was going to marry him whereas the the young man was glad that he could marry the princess even though the princess tried to kill him. In the end, nobody knew who threw the knife into the arena and nobody cared to bother, so, they lived happily ever after.
